The Detroit Tigers have announced an increased line-up of free promotional giveaways and an enhanced special events schedule for the 2009 season. The Tigers have 26 free giveaways planned and 12 special events, in addition to 19 fireworks extravaganzas, the most of any Major League team. In addition, the Tigers will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the 1984 World Series Champion team with special free giveaways and events.
